Ghebreyesus, DS\u00d6\u2019n\u00fcn Covid-19 ve k\u00fcresel sa\u011fl\u0131k sorunlar\u0131 g\u00fcndemiyle d\u00fczenlenen bas\u0131n toplant\u0131s\u0131nda konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n

Ghebreyesus, salg\u0131n nedeniyle 7 milyon ki\u015finin hayat\u0131n\u0131 kaybetti\u011finin DS\u00d6\u2019ye rapor edildi\u011fini ancak bu say\u0131n\u0131n daha fazla oldu\u011funu bildiklerini s\u00f6yledi.<\/p>\n

Ghebreyesus, \u015funlar\u0131 dedi: \u201cD\u00fcn DS\u00d6 Acil Durum Komitesi 15\u2019inci kez topland\u0131 ve bana (Covid-19\u2019un) uluslararas\u0131 \u00f6neme sahip halk sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 acil durumuna son vermemi tavsiye etti. Ben de bu tavsiyeyi kabul ettim. B\u00fcy\u00fck bir umutla Covid-19\u2019un k\u00fcresel bir sa\u011fl\u0131k tehdidi olarak sona erdi\u011fini ilan ediyorum ancak bu Kovid-19\u2019un k\u00fcresel bir sa\u011fl\u0131k tehdidi olarak sona erdi\u011fi anlam\u0131na gelmez. Ge\u00e7en hafta Covid-19 her \u00fc\u00e7 dakikada bir can ald\u0131 ve bunlar sadece bildi\u011fimiz \u00f6l\u00fcmlerdi.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vir\u00fcs\u00fcn kal\u0131c\u0131 oldu\u011funu ve hala can almaya devam etti\u011fini s\u00f6yleyen Ghebreyesus, vaka ve \u00f6l\u00fcmlerde yeni art\u0131\u015flara neden olabilecek yeni varyantlar\u0131n ortaya \u00e7\u0131kma riskinin devam etti\u011fini kaydetti.<\/p>\n

Ghebreyesus, s\u00f6z konusu karar\u0131n ani \u015fekilde al\u0131nmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n alt\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7izerek, \u015f\u00f6yle devam etti: \u201cBu karar, bir s\u00fcredir dikkatlice d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclerek, planlanarak ve verilerin dikkatli bir \u015fekilde analiz edilmesiyle al\u0131nd\u0131. DS\u00d6 verilerine g\u00f6re Aral\u0131k 2019\u2019da ba\u015flayan Covid-19 yakla\u015f\u0131k 7 milyon ki\u015finin ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131 yitirmesine neden oldu. D\u00fcnya genelinde toplam 765 milyon 222 bin 932 do\u011frulanm\u0131\u015f vaka kaydedildi.<\/p>\n
