Down sendromlu bebek, 3 May\u0131s’ta piyasaya s\u00fcr\u00fclecek olan di\u015f teli takan bir Barbie ve protez bacakl\u0131 erkek bebek Ken ile birlikte en son Fashionistas serisine kat\u0131lacak.<\/p>\n

Down sendromlu ilk Barbie bebek, kendisi de Down sendromlu olan \u0130ngiliz model Ellie Goldstein taraf\u0131ndan sergilendi. Bebek hakk\u0131nda konu\u015fan Goldstein, “Down sendromlu bir Barbie oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in \u00e7ok mutluyum” dedi. Barbie, bebe\u011fin \u00fcretimi i\u00e7in ABD’deki bir kurulu\u015f olan Ulusal Down Sendromu Derne\u011fi (NDSS) ve bir grup t\u0131p uzman\u0131yla i\u015fbirli\u011fi yapt\u0131. Down sendromlu bir ki\u015finin g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fc daha iyi yans\u0131tmak i\u00e7in Barbie’nin y\u00fcz\u00fcnde ve v\u00fccudunda de\u011fi\u015fiklikler yap\u0131ld\u0131. Daha yuvarlak bir y\u00fcz, daha k\u0131sa boy ve daha uzun bir g\u00f6vde ve avu\u00e7ta tek \u00e7izgi Down sendromlular\u0131n s\u0131kl\u0131kla sahip oldu\u011fu \u00f6zellikler olarak biliniyor.
