G\u00f6r\u00fcr, \u201cBu bir \u00f6nc\u00fc deprem olabilir mi ikincisi \u2018Marmara\u2019da gerilim art\u0131yor\u2019 ne demek?\u201d sorusuna \u015f\u00f6yle yan\u0131t verdi:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u00c7\u0131narc\u0131k \u00e7ukurlu\u011fu i\u00e7erisinde meydana geldi. 1999 depremi k\u00f6rfezin \u00c7\u0131narl\u0131k \u00e7ukurlu\u011funa a\u00e7\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 yerde durdu. Onun i\u00e7in Marmara b\u00fcy\u00fck bir \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011fuyla depreme gebe hale geldi. Biz AB\u2019nin, Deniz Kuvvetlerinin, T\u00dcB\u0130TAK\u2019\u0131n deste\u011fiyle Marmara\u2019da bir elin parma\u011f\u0131ndan az, Nam\u0131k \u00c7a\u011fatay, Celal \u015eeng\u00f6r\u2019\u00fcn de i\u00e7inde oldu\u011fu benim ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131mdaki ekiple bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 yapt\u0131k. Ve Marmara\u2019da 2 fay\u0131n kilitli oldu\u011fu ve deprem \u00fcretme durumunda stres biriktirdi\u011fini saptad\u0131k.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2018BARDA\u011eI TA\u015eIRAN SON DAMLA OLAB\u0130L\u0130R\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Canda\u015f Tolga I\u015f\u0131k\u2019\u0131n \u201cDeprem olmasa bile, \u015fu anki haliyle oradaki enerjinin deprem civar\u0131ndaki k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck fay hatlar\u0131n\u0131 tetikleyip deprem yapabilmi\u015f olma ihtimali var m\u0131?\u201d sorusuna Naci G\u00f6r\u00fcr \u015f\u00f6yle cevap verdi:<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Dr. Naci G\u00f6r\u00fcr, \u201cOrada k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck depremler \u00fcretirse, o yandaki sa\u011f\u0131ndaki solundaki k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck faylar\u0131 belirli \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde y\u00fckleyebilir. E\u011fer herhangi bir fayda yeterince stres birikmi\u015f ekstra bir g\u00fcce ihtiya\u00e7 duyuyorsa yani bahaneye bak\u0131yorsa onu k\u0131r\u0131p deprem olu\u015fturabilir. O fay Erzincan\u2019\u0131n biraz bat\u0131s\u0131nda Kuzey Anadolu fay\u0131yla birle\u015fir. Erzincan ile Bing\u00f6l aras\u0131nda Yedisu fay\u0131 vard\u0131r. Deprem olan faya g\u00f6rece olarak yak\u0131n. O Yedisu fay\u0131 en son depremi 1784\u2019te \u00fcretmi\u015ftir ve deprem tekerr\u00fcr periyodu da dolmu\u015ftur.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Canda\u015f Tolga I\u015f\u0131k, \u201cKa\u00e7 \u015fiddetinde bir depremden bahsediyorsunuz.\u201d diye sordu. G\u00f6r\u00fcr, \u201c7\u2019nin \u00fczerinde bir deprem. Onun i\u00e7in ben birka\u00e7 g\u00fcn \u00f6nce Tunceli\u2019ye dikkat edin, Tunceli\u2019yi depreme haz\u0131rlay\u0131n, P\u00fcl\u00fcm\u00fcr\u2019\u00fc depreme haz\u0131rlay\u0131n. Gemlik muhakkak ta\u015f\u0131nmal\u0131d\u0131r. Gemlik, Geyve, \u0130znik Kuzey Anadolu fay\u0131n\u0131n G\u00fcney fay\u0131 \u00fczerinde tam oturuyor ve oturdu\u011fu yer de deniz kumuyla dolu.
