Polisin senelerdir pe\u015finde oldu\u011fu \u00e7ift, farkl\u0131 kimliklere b\u00fcr\u00fcnerek soygunla aralar\u0131na mesafe koymaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yordu. Razzlekhan ismiyle rap m\u00fczik videolar\u0131 \u00e7eken Heather Morgan, kendini teknoloji giri\u015fimcisi ve rap\u00e7i olarak tan\u0131t\u0131yordu. Morgan baz\u0131 m\u00fczik videolar\u0131nda kendisinden ‘T\u00fcrk’ olarak da bahsediyordu. Forbes dergisi i\u00e7in yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir makalede ise kendinden ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 bir i\u015f kad\u0131n\u0131, seri giri\u015fimci, yaz\u0131l\u0131m yat\u0131r\u0131mc\u0131s\u0131 olarak s\u00f6z ediyordu.<\/p>\n

Ancak o ve bilgisayar programc\u0131s\u0131 olan e\u015fi, t\u00fcm bu s\u00fcre i\u00e7inde Bitfinex kripto firmas\u0131ndan \u00e7ald\u0131klar\u0131 Bitcoinleri aklamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yordu. New York\u2019taki savc\u0131l\u0131k ofisi ile yap\u0131lan anla\u015fma gere\u011fi Lichtenstein, su\u00e7u i\u015fleyen ki\u015fi oldu\u011funu kabul etti. Bilgisayar programc\u0131s\u0131 adam 20 y\u0131l ceza alabilir, e\u015fi Morgan ise 10 y\u0131l hapis cezas\u0131 ile kar\u015f\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131ya.<\/p>\n

\u00c7iftin tutukland\u0131\u011f\u0131 2022 y\u0131l\u0131nda, \u00e7ald\u0131klar\u0131 119 bin Bitcoin\u2019in piyasa de\u011feri 4,5 milyar dolara ula\u015fm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Su\u00e7un i\u015flendi\u011fi 2016\u2019da ise de\u011ferleri 71 milyon dolar ediyordu.<\/p>\n

Mahkeme belgeleri, \u00e7iftin paray\u0131 nas\u0131l aklayarak kullanmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 da ortaya koydu. Buna g\u00f6re, \u00e7ift Bitcoinleri k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck miktarlara b\u00f6lerek, sahte isimlerle binlerce farkl\u0131 kripto hesaba transfer etti. Bir ba\u015fka y\u00f6ntem olarak da ellerindeki kripto paray\u0131, darknet piyasas\u0131nda aklamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131lar. Bunun i\u00e7in de Alphabay isimli kripto pazar\u0131n\u0131 kulland\u0131lar. Yine Bitcoin aklamak i\u00e7in paravan \u015firketler kurdular ve alt\u0131na da d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcrd\u00fcler.<\/p>\n

NASIL YAKALANDILAR?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00c7iftin yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 temel hatalardan biri Walmart isimli perakende devinde kullanmak \u00fczere hediye \u00e7ekleri sat\u0131n almak oldu. Polis, bu karma\u015f\u0131k soygunu \u00e7\u00f6zmek i\u00e7in, kripto para ak\u0131\u015f\u0131 takip \u015firketi Chainalysis\u2019ten destek ald\u0131. \u015eirketin kurucusu Jonathan Levin, konuya ili\u015fkin olarak, \u201cPolis, Walmart hediye \u00e7ekleri ile Bitfinex kripto paralar\u0131 aras\u0131nda ba\u011flant\u0131 kurmay\u0131 ba\u015fard\u0131. Bu da soru\u015fturmay\u0131 derinle\u015ftirmeyi sa\u011flad\u0131\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n

Polisin \u00e7ifte ait Manhattan\u2019da bir adrese yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 bask\u0131nda, kitaplar\u0131n i\u00e7ine gizlenmi\u015f cep telefonlar\u0131 ele ge\u00e7irdi. Onlarca kullan-at telefon ve 40 bin dolar nakit paraya da el koyuldu. Kripto soygunu \u00e7\u00f6zen polisler, \u00e7iftin Bitcoinleri aklamak i\u00e7in izledi\u011fi detayl\u0131 y\u00f6ntemlere dair dok\u00fcmanlar\u0131 da \u00e7\u00f6zmeyi ba\u015fard\u0131. Olay\u0131n ger\u00e7ekle\u015fti\u011fi 2016 y\u0131l\u0131nda Bitfinex m\u00fc\u015fterileri, ellerindeki kripto de\u011ferin y\u00fczde 36\u2019s\u0131ndan vazge\u00e7mek zorunda kalm\u0131\u015ft\u0131. 2019\u2019a gelindi\u011finde ise \u015firket, m\u00fc\u015fterilerinin kay\u0131plar\u0131n\u0131 telafi etti. Hong Kong merkezli firma, \u00e7al\u0131nan ve ge\u00e7en zamanda b\u00fcy\u00fck de\u011fer kazanan Bitcoinler geri d\u00f6nd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde b\u00fcy\u00fck bir kazan\u00e7 elde edecek. Benzer \u015fekilde 2016\u2019daki kay\u0131plar\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u015firket hissesi alan yat\u0131r\u0131mc\u0131lar\u0131 da benzer bir kazan\u00e7 bekliyor.<\/p>\n
